Go on a date!

Dear Elle14,

I drifted, without subscribing, to a number of different sites over the past few weeks, and there are certainly other sites that are much more meat-markety than this one; there are others, too, such as Chemistry.com (the sister site to Match), that make themselves out to be quite scientific, if not merely methodological.

I'm going to assume that your plea about treading with caution is directed toward (or against) men reading your profile kindly being asked by you to look elsewhere if they're not looking for anything more than the proverbial good time, not for them to be careful that all you're looking for is that, and if they want more, they're going to get their little boys' hearts broken!

It is bizarre, as you say, that something genuinely good could come of this--that out of nothing, could come something. In a weird way, it's actually upliftingly human, because it is, in the end, so, well, not scientific. And if it's a cute and civilized meat market, it's not a market just for the body, but, I think, for the mind and spirit, too. And that, I think, is what we are all shopping around here on this site mostly for.
