Dear DJ747:

I am getting the feeling that this site is altogether wrong for artists and thinkers. You are practically the first person I've run across who's not a banker making 150+. What a relief! You're actually DOING something with yourself and your life! I am highly educated, super smart, nimble, and creative. See what this site has done to me? I'm spitting out laundry lists like the rest of 'em. Let me put it like this: Franz Kafka in his diary notes how he was reading Goethe's diary, and notes how Goethe had an entry one day that said: Today, did nothing. Kafka's point was just how monumental that "doing nothing" was for a man like Goethe to actually write "did nothing." But everyone on this site I'm afraid would only say: What's so special about doing nothing? Why, because people who don't actually do stuff, do things, because they do so much of nothing on an ordinary daily basis, they can't identify with Goethe's noteworthy disaster of doing nothing, instead of creating.

I hope to hear back from you

Egbert
