Dear Everlucky,
You're right; a simple "hello" can lead to unexpected and good places. Few people, even here, are, I have found, willing to go even that far--just a "hello." I'm not sure why. Of course I think most people on Match would like to stumble or bump into someone they end up loving, but these same people, I think, exclude the possibilities of meeting people who could just as well end up as good friends. Without a "hello," nothing at all is possible--neither a friendship you speak of, nor a love you hope for. Your profile and your perspective leave genuine and good possibilities open, and create, I feel, a good chance for you to meet and know different people; and maybe with the "coincidence" of my looking at your profile once, and then your looking at mine once, the chance that that creates for you and I to know each other. It could turn out to be called very good luck, indeed, which is what we all do hope for, for ourselves, and, in the best of worlds, all others, too.
