There's nothing wrong at all with your still being single. No one would ever think twice about a guy being single at any age, why a woman? As for your comment about guys just wanting to "play, play, play"; first off, we're guys. We like to play. Guys who don't like to play any more, they're basically dead to me; they're just suits, lifeless and dry-cleaned. You, however, look and sound like a lot more fun than that; get what you deserve, is my feeling on it. But, you've got some additional troubles, many of which probably have to do with your being perceived as being an Asian girl, and the host of American-based stereotypes that that involves or evokes in many men. Obviously, you don't fit that, aren't that: you're confident, able, independent, in charge, etc. So, some guy's going to have to see past all the external, which, is the first thing one gets with you: Wow, check out that hot, tall Asian chick. So, your email communication-first idea vs. just another pick-up at the bar is smart. I already see WHAT you are; now there's a chance to get WHO you are, and the same goes for you.
