Dear Rathertimely:
You are mesmerizing.
Nobody leaves me at a loss for words; you have. So, I'm just going to dig some pieces out of a few novels of mine for you to read. These are in answer to your thoughts about having a "sharp mind," "a light, joyous and playful heart," and a "tough stomach." (I want to talk to you about parenthood [see Thomas Bernhard in Gathering Evidence on it, brilliant, like your take], and middle-age ["I'll never never get to that"], and children themselves ["like seagulls to breakwater rocks they come to me"], and everything else we will ever think of ever.
Your profile is a fresh simoom of joy and delight blown in over all the drek of middle-nothing desires and middle-nothing values here and elsewhere I've never had and never aspired to. Write me back; if you don't, what a disaster for both of us, a total all-out loss.
I hope to meet you soon.
Egbert
